Our guinea fowl is a fantastic choice for those looking to elevate their Sunday roast. Reared in France to the highest welfare standards, this lean and high-protein poultry option offers a rich, gamey flavor that beautifully bridges the taste between chicken and pheasant. Not only is it delicious, but it’s also a nutritious choice, being lower in fat compared to chicken and an excellent source of essential nutrients, including iron and B vitamins.
Cooking this special bird is remarkably simple. Season it inside and out with salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs. Sear it in a hot pan to achieve perfectly golden skin, then roast in the oven at 180°C for around 40 minutes, basting occasionally. Serve alongside roasted root vegetables and creamy mashed potatoes for a hearty, satisfying meal.
