Sutton Hoo Chicken Supremes - Skin On
£14.50
Reared in Suffolk ~ Genuinely Free-Range ~ Versatile
Our Sutton Hoo chicken supremes, are from our truly free-range chickens, reared on open meadows, for up to 25% longer than a standard supermarket free-range chicken, with access to the rich variety of grasses and wild flowers that the meadows provide.
The chicken supremes are breast fillet with the first small wing joint attached and the skin on for a more succulent flavour.
Ideal for an easy supper, easy to cook.
This is how we suggest cooking your Free-range Supreme.
- Sear the skin evenly in a pre heated pan with a crushed garlic clove and a mixture of oil and butter.
- Once the skin is browned and crispy turn over and and cook for a further 5 minutes, no need to move around the pan too much.
- Then place in a pre-heated oven (180 degrees) for 10-15 minutes.
- Take the Supreme out of the oven and rest, check the juices run clear, then you are good to go.
Serving Suggestion
Lovely with shredded Hispi cabbage pan fried with lots of butter and cracked black pepper and some fries, or new potatoes, depending on the time of year.
The breast supremes do tend to vary in size as they are from genuine free-range birds, which makes it more difficult for our farmer to predict weights and sizes before they arrive to us.
Each breast would weigh roughly 220g-350g.
