East Anglia is well-known for its pork, particularly east Suffolk with its light soil which is well-suited to rearing free-range pigs.
We’ve tasted a lot of pork and the Large Black traditional-breed pigs from Robert Simonds’s farm in Oxburgh always come out on top. They are consistently excellent with a wonderful flavour and texture, and a great fat-to-meat ratio.
